How BlendX Laser Works
Laser energy targets pigment in the hair follicle, disabling its ability to regrow while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.
SplendorX1.9 combines two powerful wavelengths:
– Alexandrite: Targets fine, superficial hair.
– Nd:YAG: Reaches deeper follicles.
– BlendX: Both emitted simultaneously in one pulse for unified coverage and effectiveness.
The SplendorX1.9 Advantage
SplendorX is the first system with a square-shaped laser. It delivers each pulse evenly across the skin, without overlaps or missed spots.
The result is consistent coverage and effective hair reduction in fewer sessions.

FAQ's
Q_ Why do I need more than one laser session?
Hair follicles within the same area are not synchronised. They grow in different phases:
– Anagen (active growth) – the phase in which laser is most effective
– Catagen (transition)
– Telogen (resting)
Because not all hairs are in the Anagen phase at the same time, multiple sessions are needed to treat each follicle at the right stage.
Q_ What is the personal offer for treatment plans?
Personal offers depend on the areas included and the structure of your plan.
Treating multiple areas within the same session often allows for a more favourable overall investment. Your therapist will advise on the most suitable plan after assessment.
Q_ My skin is Type VI. Is SplendorX 1.9 safe?
For darker skin types, the Nd:YAG wavelength is considered the safest and most suitable option.
It penetrates more deeply while bypassing more surface melanin, which helps reduce the risk of burns or pigmentation changes.
Q_ Is SplendorX 1.9 effective for blonde hair?
Very light or blonde hair contains less melanin for the laser to target. Effective reduction can therefore take more sessions.
Q_ Does SplendorX1.9 deliver permanent results in cases like PCOS?
Treated follicles can be permanently destroyed, but PCOS may stimulate new follicles over time.
Regular maintenance sessions – typically one to four per year – help manage regrowth and preserve results.
Q_ Can SplendorX1.9 laser treat ingrown hair?
Laser can help reduce and prevent ingrown hair by targeting the follicles responsible for repeated irritation and trapped regrowth.
Q_ My skin is very sensitive. Is SplendorX1.9 laser suitable?
SplendorX1.9 is well-suited for sensitive skin.
– The BlendX technology allows adjustment for different sensitivities.
– The integrated DCS™ cooling system delivers cool air before, during, and after each pulse.
– The square-shaped beam supports even coverage, reducing overlaps and unnecessary heat concentration.
For added comfort, prolonged cooling air is used before treatment, followed by TOSKANI calming cream or recovery gel after the session.
Q_ Do you use numbing creams?
No. We advise against using numbing creams before laser sessions.
While SplendorX1.9 treatments are virtually painless, it’s important to feel some sensation during the session – this indicates effective hair follicle response. If nothing is felt, the area may be undertreated, leading to slower results.
Q_ Is the number of treatments the same for men and women?
Not always. Men typically require more sessions due to:
– Testosterone-driven hair growth that can activate new follicles.
– Higher hair density and coarser texture.
– Deeper roots that may require repeated treatment.
Q_ Why is my laser session taking longer than expected?
Treatment times may be extended depending on individual needs.
– Higher hair density: When hair is very thick or densely packed, laser must move at a slower pace to deliver energy without overheating or irritating your skin.
– Tattoos: If a tattoo is located near the treatment area, extra time is taken to shield and work around the ink. Complex tattoo shapes may extend each session significantly.
– Different pain thresholds: Sensitivity can vary on one area or different body areas. Your therapist may adjust laser settings constantly to maintain your comfort while keeping the treatment effective.
Q_ What are the contraindications?
– Presence or history of skin cancer, cold sores or keloid scars
– Any active skin diseases, infections or inflammatory skin conditions
– Pregnancy, breastfeeding or uncontrolled hormonal disorders
– Use of photosensitive medications (e.g., isotretinoin, antibiotics)
– Sun exposure or tanning 4 weeks prior to treatment
– Recent treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microneedling, radio frequency, injectables) 2 weeks prior to treatment
– Use of active skincare ingredients (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs) 2 weeks prior prior to treatment
Body Areas Respond Differently To Laser
If you treat both the upper lip and armpits, you may notice shedding begins on the armpits days or weeks before the upper lip.
Each area has its own hair-growth cycle, follicle depth, density, and level of hormonal influence.
– Faster respond areas (e.g., legs, bikini line) – thicker and darker hair, and less hormonally influenced.
– Slower respond areas (e.g., face, navel line) – thinner hair and more hormone sensitive.
– High-density areas may also take longer to respond.
Your personal laser plan might have scheduled visits that differ in treated areas, timing or frequency, ensuring every session is purposeful, rather than repetitive.
